In this article:

Where do I find my Locations?

When you log into PartnerHub, you’ll land on the Dashboard: a map and list of all the locations in your network.

  • A green dot on the map is an Activated location.
  • A gray dot on the list is an Unactivated location.

Activated v Unactivated

This view gives you a real-time look at your network's footprint.

You can also use the search in the upper-right of your dashboard to find activated locations quickly. You can search by:

  • Account Name
  • Location City

Search Highlight

Note: Unactivated locations will not appear in search results. To find them, scroll through the list view on your dashboard.

What’s the difference between Activated and Unactivated Locations?

Not every location in your network will be up and running right away. Here’s how to tell the difference between those actively using CareerPlug and those who still need to get started.

  • Activated Location:
The Admin Owner has activated this location and is currently in use. Activated locations may have live jobs, applicants, and active users. On your dashboard map, these appear as green dots.
  • Unactivated Location:
These locations have not yet used their activation code or started using their CareerPlug account. They’ll appear with a gray dot next to their account name.

To help get an individual location started, you can view the account details and copy the activation code to share with the Admin Owner.

  1. Select the Unactivated Account Name
  2. In Account Info, locate the Activation Code
  3. Email or text the code to the Account Owner through your messaging provider

How do I Impersonate a Location?

Impersonation allows you to access and view an account exactly as the account owner sees it, including their dashboard, settings, and tools. This helps provide support, troubleshooting, or reviewing configurations from the client’s point of view.

Note: Unactivated locations cannot be Impersonated, and Impersonation access cannot be requested for them.

To Impersonate an account, you must first have access to it. There are two ways this might work, depending on how your network is set up:

  • Automatic Access- Some configurations grant Impersonation access by default. If that’s the case, you’ll immediately see the Impersonate button.
  • Request Access -If impersonation access isn’t granted automatically, you’ll need to request it following these steps:
  1. Navigate to your Accounts page on the Locations tab.
  2. Click the Request Access button to the right of the account name.
  3. Add a note explaining why you need access (optional)
  4. Once the Account Owner approves access, you can Impersonate the account.

Only the Account Owner can grant and revoke access at any time. If access is revoked, you'll need to submit a new access request.

How can I organize Locations for better visibility?

On the left-hand side of your dashboard, you’ll find an option for Subnetworks: a powerful way to group and organize accounts and locations into meaningful categories for your business.

Subnetwroks 1

For example, you can create Subnetworks based on:

  • Geography (Districts, Regions, or Territory)
  • Age and Activity (Performance, Maturity, Experience, Type, or Operational Structure)
  • Market (Demographic, Saturation, Growth Potential, Service Offering, or Large Multi-unit Owner)

Subnetwork 2

Subnetworks make it easier to:

  • Filter your dashboard views
  • Segment reporting in Insights
  • Spot trends or needs within specific groups

Think of them as flexible folders that help you slice and analyze your network in a way that aligns with your work.

What are Insights?

All PartnerHub accounts have access to Hire Insights, which provides a data-driven view of how your network is performing in the hiring process. These recruiting metrics help you spot trends, address bottlenecks, and guide individuals toward better outcomes.

Insights tab

The Hire Insights tab is divided into four key sections:

  • Overview: What’s happening across my network?
  • Recruiting Efficiency: Where are the delays?
  • Hiring Funnel: How well is my network converting applicants to hires?
  • Job Performance: Are jobs reaching the right candidates?

Note: The following Insights are only available to networks on the Partner Advantage plan.

Retain Insights gives you a data-driven view of employee retention — one of the most effective (and cost-efficient) strategies for growing your business. Rather than constantly hiring, these insights help you focus on keeping great people longer.

Retain

Retain Insights is divided into three key sections:

  • Employee Retention: Are new employees staying long enough to succeed?
  • Employee Overview: What does my current workforce look like?
  • Employee Task Funnel: Are onboarding and engagement happening effectively?

This data helps you and your partners ensure employees aren’t just being hired, they’re being properly onboarded and supported from day one.

Labs Insights is part of CareerPlug’s Early-Access Initiative, which is focused on exploring new ways to leverage data across your network. These reports test experimental metrics related to recruiting and employee retention, offering an early look at what might shape future reporting.

We’re continually adding new reports to this section, and your feedback is critical to shaping what comes next. We'd love to hear from you if you review a Labs Insight and have thoughts, questions, or suggestions.

Tip: Labs is a great place to stay ahead of the curve and influence how CareerPlug evolves.

What kind of Requests can I make?

The Requests tab is your hub for submitting changes or additions to your partner network. Whether you’re expanding into new markets or adjusting existing locations, this is where it all starts.

Screenshot 2025-07-29 at 9.14.23 AM

From this tab, you can:

  • Request new accounts
  • Request new locations
  • Submit other changes that fall outside standard options

Our team reviews each request. Once approved, locations will be added and new accounts will appear as unactivated on your dashboard.

Want step-by-step instructions? Check out our full article on Adding accounts and locations using Partner Requests for a detailed walkthrough of each request type.

Partner Admin Permissions allow you to customize access and responsibilities across your network. With the right combination of permissions, you can empower Partner Admins to manage network operations efficiently while maintaining control over sensitive or in-development features.

Need a breakdown of the permission toggles? Check out our Partner Admin Permission Guide.

Account-Level Permissions allow you to set guardrails for a Partner Admin's interaction with individual accounts. By default, all Partner Admins can impersonate individual accounts. This allows them to view an account and take action as the Admin Owner does.
